If you live in Conroe, you are close to St. Paul (see directions, below). We are traditional without being stuffy and friendly without being imposing. Many come to St. Paul because they feel welcomed and relaxed here. We are truly a family in Christ, and invite you to come visit anytime. Our Sunday worship service is at 11 a.m., with Sunday school for all ages at 10. Dress is casual.
St. Paul CREW (Christians Ready, Equipped, and Willing) is for all youth and children--and their friends! Our hands-on, artfully crafted, multisensory Bible lessons on Sunday morning are second to none. St. Paul offers music, camping, missions, outings, and best of all healthy, wholesome friendships for children and youth. Children are welcome participants in leading worship every Sunday.
Conroe St. Paul United Methodist Church is extremely active in our community. We fill Easter baskets for CPS; Christmas boxes for Seafarer's Center, and Backpacks with supplies for elementary students. The Linus Project creates beautiful quilts for hurting children. We placed 75 wreaths with Wreaths Across America this year to remember those who served our military. HopeCrafters make monthly gifts for nursing home residents. St. Paul supports the Montgomery County Food Bank, and our pastor serves as a Montgomery County Justice Court Chaplain, and on the Montgomery County Search and Rescue Team. St. Paul believes that we are blessed to be a blessing! Come join the blessings!
St. Paul offers 11 a.m. traditional worship with Scriptural-based sermons and music that follow the liturgical year. Young children are invited to go with a teacher to attend "childrens church" after the children's message. Occasionally St. Paul enjoys country-gospel or contemporary themed services with guest musicians.
The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of every month. We believe that our Lord welcomes anyone who desires to receive Holy Communion to come and participate. We receive the elements by intinction, that is, by dipping the bread in non-alcoholic wine, or grape juice.
Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, and Good Friday services are held in the early evenings. Dress comfortably for all St. Paul worship services.
